Tafilisaunoa Toleafoa
Tafilisaunoa Toleafoa is the Executive Director of Pacific Community of Alaska. Tafilisaunoa Toleafoa grew up in the beautiful island of Samoa in the heart of the South Pacific. Her family has been residents of Alaska for more than 20 years. She is a mother of a 14-year-old, Meaalii and a 6-year-old son, Ropeti. Her efforts include working in the fields of domestic violence, civil rights, substance abuse, and higher education. In addition to her role at Pacific Community of Alaska, she is an officer in the Queer and Trans Pacific Islanders (QTPI) organization, UTOPIA Alaska. She has a passion for advocacy and building community and hopes for a future where her children can thrive. Tafilisaunoa’s efforts in all various sectors have gained NAOPO’s interest as a Board Member.
