About us

The National Association of Pasifika Organizations (NAOPO) was formed to harness the power of Pasifika communities, support communities in need and advocate for social and health justice.

Our Story

In the Spring of 2020, NH/PI leaders formed the Pacific Islander Covid Response Team (PICRT) to provide training, technical assistance and support to NH/PI communities in the US and USAPI. Members of the PICRT soon realized that there is a need for national NH/PI organization that focused on providing training, technical assistance and support to Pasifika communities and community organizations.  In the Summer of 2021, the National Association of Pasifika Organizations (NAOPO) was formed to bridge the gap.
