Nena M Tolenoa
Nena M Tolenoa is the founding CEO of the Kosrae Community Health Center since establishment in 2015. He has over twenty years of progressive work experience in public health and social services in Kosrae. He studied Public Administration at the University of Guam. He has served as an administrator for more than ten years in the Division of Preventive Services at the Kosrae Department of Health Services prior to joining KCHC in 2015. Mr. Tolenoa completed the NACH CEO Institute, the UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Programs, New York University Communication for Behavioral Impact, and the Harvard University Health Care Strategy graduate certificate program. He is currently the President of the Pacific Islands Primary Care Association, Chairperson of the Pacific Islander Center of Excellence for Primary Care (PI-CoPCE) steering committee, board member of NAOPO and the only Pacific Islander on the AAPCHO Board of Director. He was a member of the Cancer Council of the Pacific Island from 2010 until 2019. Mr. Tolenoa is on a mission to make Kosrae one of the happiest and healthiest places in the World.
