Fahina Tavake-Pasi

Fahina Tavake-Pasi is the Executive Director of National Tongan American Society in Salt Lake City, Utah. Under her leadership, Fahina Tavake-Pasi worked to provide CDC classes on chronic diseases, wellness, diabetes, teenage prevention to the Pasifika Community. Fahina Tavake-Pasi is NAOPO’s Board Chairperson and serves as the co-chair of the Regional Health Equity Councils I-X, secretary for the International Tongue and Research Association and sits on the Utah Governor’s Martin Luther King Commission. Fahina received her Bachelor of Arts in sociology and Master of Science in public health education and promotion from the University of Utah. Fahina’s dedication to advocating for better health for our Pasifika community has led her to this position as our Board Chairperson.
